This wonderful LP from La Voix de son Maitre (FALP 481, French pressing, red/white semi-circle label, mono, “baguette”-style jacket, dowel spine) features legendary pianist Georges Cziffra in a magical all-Schumann recital, one showcasing the subtle poetry that was as integral a part of his artistry as the more barn-storming virtuosity that sometimes over-shadowed his reputation.
