The sound calls for some tolerance; not because, I believe, due to any deficiency in the pressing or the condition of this particular copy, but because this seems to be an off-air radio recording. In other words, not the original broadcast tape, but a semi-amateur effort recorded privately from a radio broadcast. Having said that all that, the sound / performance is still enjoyable, but this is not a "master tape" recording.

The J Grandi Concerti series is quite nice - gatefold albums with in-bound booklets, generously illustrated and with extensive notes on the music - all texts in Italian only.
